In game song is meHiLove's - "All Night Long"Pivot XL is the second of three games in my minimalist arcade series that share aesthetics while having different control and game play. This is an 'XL' version of my mobile game 'Pivot'. I have added/changed a variety of things to make it more suitable for the Steam platform and improved a lot of code and features based on knowledge gained since I originally made it. I have been learning to make games by making games and love creating small-yet-solid arcade games with simple mechanics. Please expect 'Pivot XL' to be a small, re-playable, arcade score-chaser game where the only basic goals are to constantly beat your previous score and unlock a handful of cosmetic skins for the character. I greatly appreciate feedback and will do my best to ensure support for my games. Please contact me through Twitter, My Website, or the forums if you encounter something wrong with the game, something misleading on the store page, or you just want to say hello. Thank you for taking a moment to read this; I really hope you enjoy playing my game.Adam Nickerson - Nickervision Studios 7aa9394dea Title: Pivot XLGenre: Action, Casual, IndieDeveloper:Nickervision StudiosPublisher:Nickervision StudiosRelease Date: 14 May, 2018 Pivot XL Download For Windows PC stealth pivot xl. pivot excel shortcut. slide pivot xl. pivot mach 6 xl. pivot les 29 xl. arcadia pivot xl. pivot switchblade xl for sale. pivot les xl. excel pivot table examples. pivot mach 5.7 xl. hay pivot xl. pivot mach 429 trail xl. excel pivot table files. pivot 429 xl. pivot excel sheet. pivot excel 2016. xl tabel pivot. pivot excel. pivot excel data. pivot switchblade xl. pivot trail 429 xl. pivot in excel. pivot excel romana. excel pivot multiple files. pivot mach 429 xl for sale. pivot mach 5.5 xl. excel pivot reduce file size. pivot firebird 29 xl. stealth pivot xl price. pivot chart in excel. pivot excel meaning. excel pivot table tutorial. pivot excel files. cara membuat pivot di xl. pivot shuttle xl. excel pivot table. excel pivot csv file. pivot excel columns to rows. excel pivot table version. pivot excel formula. pivot firebird xl. pivot excel tutorial. pivot phoenix xl. pivot 429 trail xl Of all Nickervision's simple arcade titles, Pivot XL has the highest learning curve (pun intended). The game is controlled entirely with one button, and due to the nature of the game, feels like I'm playing a twisted version of the classic game "Snake" but with more snake-like circular movement rather than straight-line motion. The main menu has an optional but replayable tutorial that briefly explains how the game works, but it wasn't very clear to me the first time and took me a few tries just to get a feel for how the game plays; fortunately, this took no longer than a minute. In Pivot XL, you control a circle that's constantly rotating about a fixed radius, and pressing your control button (Spacebar, LMB and A on a controller are the default settings) changes the direction you rotate. The object of the game is to navigate that rotating circle about the board and collect other circles while avoiding obstacles; each circle you collect gives you a point. The game ends when you collide with an obstacle or the edge of the screen, in which you're given the option to immediately retry, upload your score to twitter, view the leaderboards or go back to the main menu. The options menu has various resolution options, fullscreen toggle, volume slider adjustments for both sound effects and music, and the option to toggle vibrations on or off. There is also the option to re-bind your control button to whatever you want, if for whatever reason the spacebar, left mouse button or controller A-button isn't working out for you.I recommend Pivot XL because it's difficult, but not too difficult. It's definitely a noteworthy challenge without relying too much on gimmicks, and there's no fake difficulty at all; all the obstacles are clearly telegraphed when they're about to appear on screen. The developer, Nickervision, is also very welcome to suggestions on improving the game and making sure the experience is fair and smooth for everyone. Pivot XL is definitely worth it if you're seeking a challenging arcade game to kill some time or play passively.. Cheap, fun game. Doesn't last very long until it gets boring, but that's expected when you pay less than a dollar for it. Same review applies to Diamo XL (my favorite from this dev), Righty Tighty XL & Bing Bong XL.. Well, first off before you read the review please buy the whole set of games, now lets move onto the review. So, this game I can alike to learning to ride a push bike, it takes dedication to learn, but once you do it just clicks, and you think as yourself to some kind of god. So here is the scoreUser Interface 7/10Rageability 2/10 (Lower the better*)Value for Money 10/10Quality feeling/Mechanics 8.5/10-------------------------------Now onto why I gave those scores,-------------------------------------User Interface; I like it I really do, it feels high quality, and fluid, but I just think there needs to be some sort of auto restart feature, or an easier way to restart, that is the reason I knocked down the score there.Rageability; Rageability is a category that I think represents the overall quality of these games, I want a game to relax to, not a game where I'm like "♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥KKKKKK" whereas I've seen other games in a similar category make me do that, this one does not, because you can actually obtain skill in this game, and that I believe makes a huge difference, but I'm leaving it at 2 (Lower the better*) because sometime I go "FUCCCCCK" when I smash the space bar to respawn and it takes me to twitter only to say "I've got a score of 2 in Pivot XL can you beat me?"Value for $$$; Well in honesty, it has to be 10/10, there is just something about games these days on steam that cost this sort of money and are♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game brings me back to I'd say 2013ish when pretty much all games on steam were great, ahh back before the days of GreenLight! Yeah Basically, it feels really nice, doesn't feel cheap at all. Quality Feeling/Mechanics; Great feeling on the controls, so simple too, great for older generations, some games are so overwhelming, but this game, you just use your hands, keyboard, space bar, and left click on ya mouse, beautiful huh, And it feels great too.TL;DRGreat game, Great Dev, Great Vibes. Oh also did I mention Adam, the developer, is one of the most down to earth developers out there with so much success, also he's Canadian, so he is bound to be nice :)Overal Score, 8.9/10. This game is very cool! It's really challenging for your brain, just make sure to concentrate during your moving around, takes a lot of practice to master the game. I recommend you supporting the developers and downloading their other games. ( I can't right now because I don't have a credit card to buy games. ). Similar to its counterparts, a fun way to waste an hour.. Pivot! Pivot!!! PIVOT!!!!!!!!!!!!. Check out my Steam Curator page, "Minorthreatt Gaming Reviews." I have the most organized and extensive genre lists on Steam! Be sure to "FOLLOW" for more of my recommendations: http://store.steampowered.com/curator/31339849-Minorthreatt-Gaming-Reviews/?appid=257170The Short of it: Out of all the Nickervision Studios games, I found this one the most challenging. It bordered on frustrating for me because the way you move is so odd. With practice though, this could be rewarding.I am reccommending it because there's nothing wrong with it being challenging, and someone else may really enjoy the mental challenge this game offers. I can see myself coming back to it, and practicing to the point that I can properly predict how the "player" will move when I click. But I would still say this is my least favorite of the Nickervision games - it just didn't appeal to me right away, nor did I feel great about how I could play it after a bit. It really requires some work to understand where the pivoting movmenet is going to send you (at least for me). If you're up for a little indie S&M though, get in there bucko ;). Pivot XL is minimalistic arcade one-button game. In terms of difficulty and addictiveness it can be compared to that old Helicopter flash game. Reaching 50+ score takes a serious amount of fast planning and precise execution, while top 10 players have 100+ scores.Overall Pivot XL provides solid 1-2 hours of entertainment for it's cost.. Enjoyed the game immensely. It's fairly simple, but very polished!. Fun and addictive. Good price for a nice lil time burner. V3: Patch Notes:. Ding Dong XL: My latest arcade score chaser is now available on Steam. Ding Dong XL is a one button game that requires to you push the button everytime you want your character to move from top to bottom, you must time your moves to avoid enemies and collect powerups while surviving as long as possible. If you liked my other one button games you will probably get a kick out of this. If you enjoy the game, please make sure to leave a brief Steam Review.Thank you all for the continued support, it greatly helps in my development of Super Bit Blaster XLAdam NickersonFollow Nickervision Studios on Steamhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/862570/. Minimalist Series May 14: My series of one button minimalist arcade games will be available on Steam May 14th. They are fast paced score chasers that follow a similar aesthetic while maintaining their own game play control mechanics. I think if you've enjoyed my previous titles, especially Orbt XL, you may get a lot of fun out of these as well. They include Steam Cloud, Achievements, leader boards, and eventually trading cards when I am given the green light to add them. As usual they are no Half Life 3 in scope, and have no story to speak of, that being said, they should provide some good arcade score chasing for those that are looking for it. They will be available on May 14th for around a dollar each, as well as in their own minimalist games bundle for a discount, and will be added to the 'Nickervision Studios Complete the Set' bundle to ensure those of you that have supported me this far get an even deeper discount :) Please consider adding them to your wish list if you're interested. V1 NOW AVAILABLE: My new series of one button minimalist arcade games are now available on Steam. They are fast paced score chasers that follow a similar aesthetic while maintaining their own game play control mechanics. Please share with friends and leave a short Steam review if you enjoy playing them, it really makes a huge difference for me. The games are available bundled together for a discount or seperately.
